What is kerb side delivery?
Your order will be delivered on a pallet.  The delivery vehicle will not be fitted with a crane, the pallet is removed using a hand operated pallet trolley.  The pallet is moved onto the tail lift of the vehicle and then lowered to the kerb side.  The driver will then manoeuver the pallet into a safe place.  The driver will not be able to lift the pallet over fences or walls.  The driver will not be able to carry your order any further than the pallet trolley allows.  Due to the limitations of this type of delivery we strongly advise that you contact our office on 0845 544 1592 if you are in any way unsure about this method of delivery.

Can I set a delivery time?
We do not currently offer a set delivery time.  On some orders we offer AM or PM delivery slots.  AM being 8am till 1pm and PM being 12 noon till 6pm.  We do not offer exact delivery times, i.e 1030am.  It is not possible to do this, and if you leave a note in the special instuctions box with a specific time please do not assume this is the time the order will arrive.

Do I have to be there to accept the delivery?
Yes.  We advise customers to be present during the delivery.  If you are not present the goods will be left at the kerb side.

How will my order be delivered?

Unless otherwise specified all deliveries will be sent on pallets.  The goods will then be removed using a pallet truck and via a tail lift.  The delivery vehicle will NOT have a crane or winch, and all deliveries will be to the kerb side.  The driver will not be able to lift the goods over fences, walls, up steps, down slopes etc.  Due to the limitations of this type of delivery we strongly advise that you contact our office on 0845 544 1592 if you are in any way unsure about this method of delivery.  Please note, if at the time of delivery you are unable to accept the delivery for this reason you will not receive a refund.

How big is the vehicle that will be delivering my order?
Vehicles may be up to 44 tonnes gross weight.  Please be aware of this when ordering.  Please consider width restrictions, parked cars, trees, low bridges etc when ordering and advise us of any issues.  Please note that skip trucks and bin trucks often have a narrow track body and although you may have had a large vehicle to the premises before it may not mean our vehicle will be able to access so please check when ordering.  If your access route is less than 3.5m wide or has height restrictions below 4m we would ask that you contact our office before you order.
